This is actually a 2d game graphic project we were given at school. We were provided with the base code so the game could work with just the art, but it was very pretty much only to show off the graphics. This is the first time I've done actual programming since I tried HTML at school 10 years ago... So I apologize for the lack of refinement. It's been quite a chore to get the thing to work the way I wanted it to, even tho its a very simple game!

I was told the hitboxes can only be registered as squares, so I sized them down from the actual models so that you wouldnt snap the corners outside the models together.

The game also originally had an array based enemy spawn that made them spawn in specific order and position. It was pretty easy to learn which way to dodge next so I decided just to add the collectable lives in and add randomness to the positions, even at the cost of sometimes having to deal with these walls of enemies and stacked lives and gems.

The octopus point is very useful, I might make him pop out a bit more!
Oh, and the max amount of lives is 5 :)
